About

My name is Mauro, I was born in Belém, in the Amazon region of Brazil. At twenty-one, I moved to the United States, which has been my home ever since.
Growing up in a non-practicing Catholic household, I developed a deep curiosity about the spiritual world as a teenager. That curiosity led me to explore religions like Umbanda and Candomblé (African religions), Spiritism, Rosicrucianism, New Age, and Buddhism. I was fascinated by the supernatural, experiencing things that couldn't easily be explained and feeling the presence of spiritual entities.

I always said I believed in God, but now I realize I was searching for Him in all the wrong places.

I had felt and experienced the spiritual world, so I knew there was something beyond the physical. But when I encountered Jesus, it was unlike anything I’d ever felt before. I felt embraced—loved in a way I’d never experienced. It was like being a small child, safe in the arms of a parent. I couldn’t stop crying tears of joy, and from that moment on, my vision of the world began to change.
God has been persistent in asking me to share my story, and though I’ve been hesitant, I know that if this helps even one person get to know Jesus and feel His love, it will have been worth it. May the peace of God, the kind that surpasses all understanding, be with you.
